Welcome to the Tuesday night
study on the "Song of Solomon." Some believe this is an allegory--
an extended metaphor which
simply describes some
deeper spiritual truth. Others
believe it's a book of typology describing Christ's loving concern
for His bride, the Church.
However, there's no reason why
we shouldn't interpret this book
in a natural literal way.
Solomon was discussing in a very
descriptive way the intimate relationship between a man and a
woman. Consequently, the
supracultural principles
we'll be sharing from this book
are based on this approach.
