Tonight we continue our study in
Proverbs beginning with
chapter 4. Our goal is to complete chapter 9.
Here’s something to think about
when you come to chapter 8
verses 22-31. When Solomon
described wisdom, was he
actually describing the person of
Jesus Christ, or was this another
personification of wisdom in order
to make this abstract idea
understandable?
(Compare what Paul wrote in
Colossians 1:15-17 and 2:1-3. It
appears that Paul is referring to
this section in Proverbs. What
light does Paul’s perspective
throw on Solomon’s description
of wisdom?
