This week we will
encounter Psalm 51, one
of the greatest examples
of repentance and
forgiveness in the Bible.
David bears his heart--
and makes no excuses
for his terrible sins.
This Psalm raises a very
significant question for
reflection and response:
Why is it so easy to be
sorry when we're caught
in sin rather than to be
sorry we've wounded God's
heart as well as our fellow
believers?
Would you believe we've
almost reached the half-way
point in the biblical story--
at least in terms of pages!
